I really hope that the older I become, the more Christlike I am. In my words, actions and even inactions that people see someone that has let Christ mould her. I also really don’t want to lose my softness, tenderness and empathy as I grow older. 😅

plus i received a word that ties very clearly into the season i'm in and i nearly went. the only thing i didn't like was my initial awkwardness attending events where i don't know anyone personally, but i had a great time regardless.

though i may not have evidence i attended #BBONDLAG24 (my phone died and i lost my powerbank a while back), but i had the most fun i've had in a while. The Panel sessions left me with so much wisdom to take back home, all the performances were top notch, and Uncle Jo led us deep.

One of the best things Jo Deep has ever done is make me do a study on old vs new covenant. While I haven’t finished the pdf yet, the depth and richness of that study has changed a lot for me. I am in constant awe of the gift that is salvation and the finished works of Christ.

I've never understood the stigma around video games and other nerdy hobbies being childish or something you grow out of when the large majority of people who keep these hobbies alive and successful are grown adults with jobs.

I think assignments or any activity that forces or brings remembrance of a teaching or sermon is an essential part to growing. It might be undesirable in the moment but in hindsight. It makes you a better student. I cherish it.

We all should learn to deal with shame early. You shouldn't feel ashamed for putting your hands to work no matter how little. As long as it is legal.
