1. Replaced because primary click button stopped clicking (1 year) 2. Replaced because spinny wheel stopped spinning properly (9 months) 3. ???? Let’s see how long it lasts
This is my third replacement Best ergonomic mouse ever Just lacks in long term build quality
Today’s coding nook In front of an outdoor gas heater in a rainy day. Bliss This app is coming together nicely ✅ Distribution model decided ✅ Gameplay logic decided Building a passion project is a lot of fun

People will let AI take over their decision making, creativity and effort Learning your craft will put you ahead in the long run Learning to code for example: is also learning how to problem solve, manage time, build a project, etc Relying AI robs you of that journey
how do you guys handle the "is it worth learning things when ai will just do this better than I ever could in some years" feeling?

Each evening I’m left with a choice: Now the kids are down to sleep… do I 1) I do some quiet work on my side project. Sacrificing an early morning 2) Get an early sleep to wake up refreshed with time for a run Lately I’ve been choosing (1) And creatively it’s fulfilling.…
That was quick The video only went out 11 hours ago
Just got my first paying customer 🎉🎊🥹🎊🎉 Thanks @adamlyttleapps for the Paywall idea 💪: (youtu.be/UWm_NpAyrlc?si…) I made the Changes instantly after the video(had a major bug in subscriptions for annual and I had to submit a new version anyways)
Oh yeah… and basic security is the moat The bar is low on that one at the moment
The only trade secret is user acquisition now What keywords you’re targeting What marketing you’re doing This has been the biggest shift I’ve seen in my entire career… Technology can now be copied in an instant now. But without users it’s just code

My setup lately has been snug Suddenly I realised… I get paid to write code and play music 😮 Building this piano app is just pure fun

I once had a nightmare every button on an app was a custom chatbox input Wanna make the text bold? Click this chatbox to tell the LLM to make it bold But not this chatbox… that’s reserved for telling the LLM to save Wanna share? Oh, that’s this chatbox over here… you tell…
Have yet to see any real AI-native UI beyond a text box, chat or mind map It feels like we’re at the first step in UI design Most are the same as incumbents just with worse cap tables and better videos Anything interesting out there?
Thought I may have come across bit mean in this video So reached out to Matt and asked for his thoughts “It’s fine, I got a thick skin” was his response A timely reminder that we all have different thresholds, and it’s best to just ask what people think before posting In…
Go & check out @adamlyttleapps new Video, I get (rightly) roasted in it - and it's a great watch! Adam & I get on well, he's super respectful and makes completely valid points. So excited to see how this app progresses in his capable hands now. youtube.com/watch?v=mafcz2…
Forgot that I built this 😂
My in-app event was rejected earlier and I got to use @adamlyttleapps app store ai helper tool today. Great tool!
The biggest surprise for me has come from apps I thought no one would pay for And the biggest letdowns were those I had high hopes for Funny how that works
just realized my 2-year-old calculator app just hit $500 in revenue this month😯 it was free for almost 2 years. honestly, i didn't think anyone would pay for it. but after seeing @adamlyttleapps and @seraleev share their journeys, i finally added a paywall in march!
The AI pushback is real AI as a tool = accepted AI to replace creativity = not welcome We found the line
so uhh... maybe i should stop running meta ads
Twitter still has a digital footprint Here the little bird is still see at my local gym. The app doesn’t work. But it’s there 😂

I think iOS is trying to tell me something about this caller….
