Myles Lewis-Skelly looked like an elder statesman yesterday. The authority in his position, the certainty and bravery of his passing and the physical presence he has is not normal at 18. It feels like #Arsenal will see even more growth this season; he looks sharp and hungry.

Martin Zubimendi thinks forward. He’s just so Spanish in his technical approach and has the bravery to go through the tightest of lines. Everything at #Arsenal starts at the back, and he knows where to stand, when to speed things up and when to put his foot on the ball. Maestro.

The first game of pre season is never pretty, but Bukayo Saka looked fit, strong, hungry and sharp. The combinations with Ben White were there from the off, and it was a reminder of the partnership that #Arsenal lost last season. The proper holiday has done them a lot of good.

Just look at how isolated #Arsenal leave Bukayo Saka, and how many defenders he shakes off, outsmarts and gets past. He has carried too much of our creative and goal scoring burden; Madueke and Gyökeres' running power will open up so much space for him.

Having Martin Zubimendi so early is massive. He will be the central connector between Raya, our centre backs and eights, and that quick ball over the top will give us a whole new layer in attack. Don’t let the fee fool you, he is #Arsenal’s most important signing this summer.
