How silly of me to forget how far I've come, just because I still have far to go.
Daughters are no longer raised to be wives. They're raised to b people. And some people are really not okay with that. They're not being taught to sacrifice. Not being told that marriage is the finish line. They're questioning things. To society their freedom looks like defiance.
This is why I had second thoughts on sharing this picture. 😂 Someone would just take it and own it. So I shared 1/3 of the ones I took, also unedited because if I had shared my very final work, ahh, it’d be stolen real quick.😂 Happy you asked, sseluganda. I did. 🙂↔️

I have made peace with the fact that, at the end of the day, it’s not about the first class, but rather the solid connections, good memories, friendships, love escapades, the good jokes, every single memory with every person I meet.
She carries the heart of a Poet, even though she does not think of herself as a Poet……It is in the way words effortlessly roll out of her mouth with such rich language.

Indeed, love leaves leftovers. ….I mean, look at me studying faces, flowers, my food, the sunset, hair, clothing, writing, buildings, a little too hard because; “you once mentioned that there’s art in everything on God’s Earth, but only if we allow our eyes to look properly.”
There’s a group of people who didn’t come from generational wealth, but their parents worked hard enough to give them an above average life even sent them to schools where they brushed shoulders with kids born into access, connections, and old money. A different kind of privilege
