The real reason most devs hate PHP isn’t the language, it’s the fact that it still works in 2025 and outperforms half your favorite frameworks. People love to hate it, but ignore that it still powers massive parts of the web.

doing frontend for my blog site. when things are simple, the flow hits different. lowkey enjoying it.
JavaScript devs be like: “Let’s build a startup” and then spend 3 mos deciding on the perfect framework that’ll be dead in 6
That's why I use pnpm... Because carrying a 300kb app with a 12GB node_modules folder just doesn't make sense. 😅
