the way schools are designed and constructed makes me feel they're meant to confine us. the lack of windows in hallways, the artificial lighting reflecting off the discolored walls from all directions, and being surrounded by people you don't know feels surreally disconcerting.
people underestimate the motivation derived from childhood trauma
