There's no substitute for just sitting down and writing. No amount of tips or guidebooks can replace the importance of just opening up your document and typing. If you do that, you'll improve. If you don't, nothing can really help you.

Art is inherently human. Creativity is a human skill--to dream and create with your essence. While I understand wanting to subcontract it to a machine for lack of skill, It must never be confused for art--It's not. And can never be.
The worst part of lit mag work is sending decline letters. We know how much it stings because everyone on our staff has faced lots of rejection too. It's part of the artist life. Please know that we read each submission with love & care & gratitude.
