This very easily could’ve been the Mariners’ corner infield instead of the Dbacks’ if ownership would’ve been willing to spend the extra $25M it would’ve cost to keep Geno and trade for Naylor… shame
Anytime the M’s can get a bat it’s a good thing, especially when the prospect package doesn’t hurt cause of farm strength. I like Naylor’s OBP skills (and 12 K%!!), but will be curious to see how things shake out in the field between Canzone, Raley, and Polanco going forward.
