Correction, after reading instead of inferring from my experience: - Entrepreneurs lose closer to 2hrs /day filtering noise - Avg lifespan is 80yo (~ 700k hrs) - 700k / 2hrs = 350k - So for every 350k entrepreneurs a total of 1 life is lost each day How do you manage this?
If the avg founder wastes 1 hr a day getting to his important comms due to newsfeeds & noise catching his attention, then assuming average lifespan = 75yo, for every 657k founders, 1 is killed every day Translates to many others killed bc founders are inherently life enhancing
The future is unknowable. The creation of new knowledge cannot change that. In fact it contributes to its ever increasing unknowability.
Slavery exists now too, only at a far higher level of abstraction for the most part. It operates via this thing called fiat banking.
Slavery was standard practice throughout Earth until it was almost entirely ended principally by Anglo-American forces in the 19th and 20th centuries. Slavery still exists in some parts of the world btw. I’m not suggesting Britain was purely angelic, but, nonetheless, this is…
Happened to me once - shattered my toes to pieces & no one cared lol Honestly think it's the woeful music played in modern gyms that makes them anti-social - it is so unbearable to not wear headphones & we get lost in our little isolated worlds
I recently had a barbell mishap at a very upscale gym. Hardly anyone came to the rescue. People next to me were totally indifferent. In the same town, I had the same type of problem in a downmarket blue-collar gym full of pumped up gymbros. About the entire gym ran to help.
Wow, did you know: - Entrepreneurs waste ~2.5 hrs/day managing digital noise & context switching (worse for unstructured roles) - Beyond pure time sink: 23-min refocus per interrupt - kills clarity & inhibits any deep work - App switching: 1-2 hrs direct loss, 10-15…

This.
Notifications. Masquerading as tiny and helpful but in reality psychologically invasive and damaging to the brain - interrupting complex thought, forcing (expensive, taxing) context switch, spiking dopamine, making thought reactive instead of proactive.
Yes moron. This way humans can operate at higher levels of abstraction. Precisely the historical trajectory that’s enabled us to keep unfortunate people like you alive. You’d have starved to death otherwise. Imagine your survival being dependent on the value you produce.
This is Elon Musk's vision of the future. How many jobs do we lose when this transformation takes place? Do we really want to interact with robots instead of people? What do you think?
Get back hours each day & never miss a lead by: - Avoiding the platforms to check important DMs - Pushing all high value DMs/emails to the Dollarbox Unify every inbox & chat, manage intelligently.
I never have to visit Linkedin to see important leads, nor any platform for that matter Leads automatically go to my Dollarbox at the top so revenue opportunities get my attention before anything Inboxagents.ai - like Superhuman but for every inbox, all at once
💡🤔
Asked the Head of AI at a Fortune 500 how he decides buy vs build, and his framework feels widely applicable: “we buy what accelerates us, and build what differentiates us”
A super midwit
Midwit writing used to be woke. Now midwit writing is all AI. “It’s not this, it’s that.” A superintelligence, yet midwit.

Who else is moving in the same direction as Andrew? Interested in your feedback & thoughts around what he has described but across not only email - every other inbox/chat app too
I barely read my emails anymore. I use an AI tool called Cora, which reads and triages my emails, sending me an update on what I missed, twice a day. It summarizes all my newsletters and puts them in bullet points so I can easily skim. It's too good. Everyone I know is…
My co founder & I got our lawyers to draft an agreement that says when there is a disagreement between us we have to get in the cage & fight it out. Winner decides company trajectory.
If a 10 year old can do it, what are your complaining about?
Just got my 4th customer! 🎉 I’m 10 and just made another $10 💰🥳 Happy morning builders.
Makers gonna make. Takers gonna take. Without we who make there's nothing to take. Sadly famine serves as the ultimate lesson for cultures that don't grok this.
I wrote this yesterday and folks liked it 🦾 The modern world is pretty great, actually! I get to not starve, to cooperate with fellow humans instead of murdering them, and so on - vs. history times life is good! ❤️ Folks replying rooting hard for communism, then complaining…
