This week on July 11, through #i_Upshift, 4️⃣8️⃣ youth-led teams pitched their ideas, showcasing their business models & prototypes. 3️⃣6️⃣ groups will each receive $100 to refine their solutions & test them in the market. Thanks to @IloProspects
"🌟 Inspiring Day! Today, our Social Innovation Symposium brought together 3⃣0⃣0⃣ #youth from #i_Upshift program! Panels tackled mindset topics & innovators shared experiences. Social interactions & peer learning can trigger ripple effects on youth mindset & economic development.
This 8th July 2025, we bring together youth from 2 phases of the i-UPSHIFT Program for a day of inspiration, and peer learning. The event will be a mix of panel discussions, exhibition and networking that will bring learning about vision, team, product, and market development.
On this 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ world #refugee day, we take the opportunity to celebrate our partners and supporters of jobs creation, jobs improvement, enterprise creation and development and much more the young refugees who are changing the narrative through their initiatives. @Refugees

Today, @ilodaressalaam in 🇺🇬 is showcasing the impact of honouring refugees’ right to #decentwork. Through our @IloProspects project in Uganda we are linking #refugees to market-relevant skills, jobs, mental health support, social protection, labour justice & more. #DecentWork
These are thousands of people who will try to rebuild their lives. In Uganda, I believe it is possible if there is adapted support given to the government and implementing partners like @_UnleashedUG. We commit to supporting #refugees build personal, social & economic resilience

Young people who attended the #i_Upshift program are supporting to call other young people to grab a new Upshift opportunity. In the new program, they will also be instrumental in #encouraging, #inspiring the new innovators and share some #experiences gained through the program.

Today @_UnleashedUG has started a 5 days #SYB training of the global @ilo #SIYB program. The aim is to support 23 @Refugees entrepreneurs develop drafts of bankable business plans and link the entrepreneurs to financial service providers. @grwomushana1 @namuyaba15
