Now we have another data point to compare to #Mizzou’s NIL spending. Missouri was at $31.7 million when I reported on this last month. Texas A&M comes in above $51 million. Hopefully we keep getting more reporting like this to get a better picture of NIL across schools.
Texas A&M student-athletes received a combined $51.4 million in NIL compensation from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, according to figures received through open records . Men's sports received a combined $49.2M. Women's sports received a combined $2.2M: theeagle.com/sports/college…

Surprising to me no Alabama players got a spot. If anything, I have more confidence in the defense right now than the offense
My friend @jbeanpoll asked me: When was the last time Alabama did not have a defensive player picked first-team preseason All-SEC at Media Days? I didn't know, so we looked it up. And the answer is: Never. Media Days started in 1985 and this is the first time. Crazy.
My take: Too high: South Carolina, Ole Miss Too low: Oklahoma, Missouri (easy schedule)
Predicted order of finish by SEC media: 1. Texas (3060 points) 2. Georgia (2957) 3. Alabama (2783) 4. LSU (2668) 5. South Carolina (2109) 6. Florida (1986) 7. Ole Miss (1979) 8. Texas A&M (1892) 9. Tennessee (1700) 10. Oklahoma (1613) 11. Auburn (1272) 12. Missouri (1170) 13.…
