It’s wild to think there was one Christian Indian man, Sebastián Tarabal, of the Cochimí people of Baja, who played a crucial role in both Padre Serra’s and Captain de Anza’s efforts to evangelize, scout and settle Alta California during the Spanish colonial period. The Spanish…

Nice that the Bee went ahead and de-associated itself with Catholics last week. Have fun in the history books guys 👋🏼

The scholars, academics, theologians and clergy are fighting
I don’t know anything about the fired theologians but quite frankly I’m grateful we moved on from the “quite frankly” guy
why is FEMA getting into the prison-building business. Isn't this the conspiracy conservatives have believed for years, only it's happening now under MAGA
🚨#BREAKING: FEMA is preparing to send nearly 608 million dollars to several other states for the construction of new high-security detention facilities, often compared to Alligator Alcatraz style compounds
Yeah it’s pretty great. And things like this and the mass are available wherever you are because it’s the universal church. You can get sacraments anywhere
I love being Catholic. I show up at my hospital and within 24 hours a Priest comes and does anointing in the sick. It’s always the same Priest too. He has done on the spot Confessions when I’ve asked, too. I can’t imagine not being Catholic.
Nah Sipowicz pulled off this look and it’s classic
My brothers in Christ, wearing a tie with a short sleeve collared shirt should be ILLEGAL.
Those who underpay their workers are acting sinfully even if capitalist America says it's good.

One of the great things about Catholicism: you don’t need to debate everything; just obey your bishop. Kneel during the Agnus Dei? Optional in LA. Hold your palms out during the Our Father? Sure. Don’t overthink it. Bishops got this. Ditch that Yankee rebel spirit where you…

USCCB says there is no prescribed posture during Pater Noster

My bishop hasn't said anything bad about this or the sign of peace. I obey him. I also raise my hands even higher in the last stanza. And during the Sign of Peace I make the full 360 sweep. Sorry it's triggering to you but why are we shaming fellow Catholics
The orans posture is reserved only for priests. Praying this way as the laity is a violation of the liturgical rule.
A woman I know from church just got some bad results from a mammogram and she’s spiraling. If you would say a prayer for her I’d be much obliged 🙏🏻
Tough Love
Respectfully, I find it hard to understand why anyone takes Anglicanism seriously. Like an insane King goes nuts, defies Rome, murders Saint Thomas More, rainbow flags on half the Churches now, and you're convinced this is better than being Catholic? I don't get it.
