Drake Maye on handling Josh McDaniels’ playbook: “Yeah, it takes a while to get to master something at the level that some of the (past) guys played at. So I think I’ve got a long way to go. But I think I like where I'm at.”

#Patriots DL Milton Williams says he was happy to see DC Terrell Williams, who “always got a little extra shit-talking when it comes to (the D-line).” Williams coached D-lines in Tennessee and Detroit before getting the DC job.

#Patriots rookie WR Kyle Williams made a nice contested-catch on a comeback route vs. Christian Gonzalez in team drills. Good throw by Maye, too. Williams' best routes have been out-breakers since he got to New England.
