If I had a nickel for every time I shipped a character played by Stephen Lang with a badass, female leader of a villainous faction I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Also. I know I'm saying this from a very privileged position having seen the trailer in IMAX, but Avatar fans if you're meh about Fantastic Four and are considering it to see the trailer... don't. Don't reward the MCU anymore. Shit was so mid. Trailer plays last. Sneak in.
Anyway. Thought you guys might appreciate this thing I posted on FB the other day. I'd like to preface this with saying that I wrote this 90% facetiously, with a bite of my tongue, and holding back laughter, but I also high key meant every word.

God but really though. Fantastic Four was so... - CGI baby. JARRING. Twilight level. In 2025. - Meh chemistry between the 4 - Writers simply do not understand the SCALE OF THE EARTH AND OTHER PLANETS - Boring ?? - Too campy at times Julia Garner only good thing.
Oh and Fantastic Four was... mid. Possibly because I couldn't stop thinking about the Avatar 3 trailer and that is no joke.
You guys wanna know what I did in my week off Twitter to avoid Avatar trailer spoilers? I learned how to play chess and then became obsessed. I have two chess apps on my phone lmao. I play in every lull I have.
Also, my god y'all, the discipline between these two Tweets! Tbh, it wasn't that hard. Once I realized it's okay for my thoughts to stay inside, it was easy to avoid Twitter. Something a lot of people on here could learn...

So FYI that there's like an Avatar trailer fakeout where you think it doesn't play, but it seems directly attached to Fantastic Four itself. Lights will dim! But I promise the trailer plays. At least at @AMCTheatres. Absolutely incredible in IMAX. So worth the wait.
I don't wanna see any part of the Avatar Fire and Ash trailer before James Cameron and the studio meant it to be seen. And certainly not some shitty camrip version. So then.
