I know @SenLummis @SenGillibrand are pretty sophisticated, so I hope they and their legislative staff can pick up on the crucial parts of the maturity test with @BankingGOP @SenateBanking. Otherwise they might as well just hand a new monopoly over to big tech and big banks.

Sad but true. These centralized "blockchains" are 1) worse than a database because they are slow, have problems up with uptime, and are decentralization in name only and 2) get away with with murder because of the insane marketing, lobbying, and KOL shilling on X/Twitter.

The most important part of CLARITY and I hope @BankingGOP @SenateBanking don't undo this. Mature blockchains = decentralized, which are a different risk than centralized/controlled ones. Sadly, most projects aren't "mature" even under this very reasonable definition.
