@ZippyDuvall
President of @FarmBureau, the unified voice of agriculture
Great meeting with you today. Appreciate your continued support of America’s farmers and ranchers.
Always great to catch up with the folks at @FarmBureau.
This week, I met with admin officials & President @realdonaldtrump to discuss issues facing America's farmers & ranchers. It’s important to have these conversations to ensure government serves as a partner in the success of farmers & ranchers as we stock America’s pantries.

.@FarmBureau applauds the House & Senate for passing legislation that will bring certainty to farmers & ranchers. Modernizing farm safety net programs & making permanent critical tax provisions could be the difference between staying in business or shutting down the family farm.
Farm Bureau applauds the U.S. Senate for passing the reconciliation package. We urge the House to pass the bill and get it to the president’s desk for signature to ensure America’s farmers can continue putting food on the table for America’s families.
Last week I had a unique opportunity to get a look at agriculture in the English countryside. I was reminded of how much farmers everywhere have in common, and every conversation highlighted how important trade is to farmers on both sides of “the pond.”

Farmers rely on skilled workers to help produce the safe, sustainable food we all depend on. We need a permanent solution to our outdated farmworker program.
Agricultural labor challenges are impacting farmers, ranchers and the nation's food supply. Farmers and ranchers cannot care for their crops and animals without the contributions of farmworkers. Vegetables will be left in the fields, fruit will remain unpicked, and cows will go…
.@farmbureau applauds EPA’s proposed Renewable Fuel Standard for 2026 & 2027. The RFS would increase domestic biofuel production, prioritize home-grown crops, & enable producers to meet the demands of emerging international markets.
.@FarmBureau congratulates Stephen Vaden on his confirmation to be the next Deputy Secretary of Agriculture. We look forward to engaging with him to create opportunities for farmers and ranchers to continue growing the food, fuel and fiber families rely on.
Enjoyed meeting with representatives from the British government and Ambassador to the U.K. Warren Stephens. We discussed working together to expand trade opportunities that will help ensure farmers and ranchers can continue to feed families in America and abroad.
.@FarmBureau President @ZippyDuvall and I spoke about the opportunities for economic growth in the United States and the UK presented by the historic trade deal announced by @POTUS President Trump, and the importance of the UK market for U.S. farmers and ranchers.
Today I testified before the Senate Aging Committee to discuss solutions to support a new generation of farmers. Thank you to the Committee for inviting us to the table.

.@Farmbureau appreciates the Senate Ag Committee’s markup and passage of the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act. Whole and 2% milk, as well as flavored options, are wholesome choices for children and an important building block for a healthy, balanced diet.
It is deeply troubling for the White House to endorse a report that sows seeds of doubt and fear about our food system and farming practices, then attempts to celebrate farmers and the critical role they play in producing the safest food supply in the world.

.@FarmBureau applauds the House passage of H.R.1, which modernizes farm bill programs and extends and improves critical tax provisions that benefit America’s small farmers and ranchers.
Our nation’s food security depends on farms of all sizes, but it is getting more difficult for smaller farms to survive tough economic times. We look forward to learning more about Secretary Rollins’ plan and working with USDA to ensure farm families don’t just endure but thrive.
.@FarmBureau appreciates the work between the administration and the United Kingdom to secure a new trade agreement. We have long advocated for new trade deals, and this is an important first step in expanding markets in the four countries.
It was an honor to present @congressmanGT with his second @FarmBureau Golden Plow award. Chairman Thompson has worked tirelessly for America’s farmers, and we look forward to his continued leadership.

.@FarmBureau appreciates President Trump's 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for dozens of America’s trading partners. We encourage the administration to swiftly resolve trade disputes & pursue strategies to ensure American farmers can continue to feed families at home & abroad.
.@FarmBureau encourages the administration to work toward a swift resolution to trade disagreements to avoid tariffs that put farmers and ranchers in the crosshairs of retaliation, and to pursue strategies that expand market opportunities.
The July Cattle Report and County Estimates reports are crucial tools for farmers and ranchers to understand markets and make business decisions. We’re grateful USDA made the correct call to restore these reports.
We’re pleased Sec. Rollins prioritized delivery of the first $10 billion in much-needed aid approved by Congress. It will help farmers who are facing low commodity prices while wrestling with inflation, high interest rates and increased supply costs.
