The difference between Moana and Patapim on Moana's release day. 😁 The release weight of Patapim (today, one week later) was 31.2 kg.

Due to moulting, the fur of the seal is very thin and the skin is easily irritated. That is why he has superficial wounds. This is natural. That's why we decided to release him tomorrow, because he does not need us to recover and thus should be in his natural habitat. ❤️ (2/2)

Also, together with Moana, another seal will be released. This 1 year old seal came in yesterday because it seemed in bad condition for a few days already on the beach. We examined him further in the centre and he turned out to be very healty. 🙏 (1/2)

This is Lyra, only weighing 5,8 kg when she came in on June 24th. She is beautiful but needs to gain a lot of weight. ❤️

This poor seal pup was found by the police during an illegal rave in Borgsweer this early morning. 😭 The police shut the rave down and brought the pup to safety. It's now in our center. She is ok, but a but small and her name is Rave. 💛
