Lots of rain in the forecast so I’m planning on baling this cutting of alfalfa in silage bales. Anyone on here bale silage with a 3x3 square baler? I have a couple of questions.
Found an old box of my dad's hats from "back in the day". Seems some got a little mangled

Me, checks calender, yep still July, then looks at temperature... 3C is much cooler than I care to see this time of year.
Needed a big truck muffler for my Superliner project. My dad ordered one from the local parts store since he was headed there for some other things. Was surprised to see Made in Canada on the box. Price made me throw up a little

When I was away, somebody forgot to put a fuel cap back on my 2290. Fuel cap from Case dealer $85, fuel cap from local parts store $11.99.
Shop tiie tunes. Face to face has been a band I've enjoyed since my teens open.spotify.com/track/3YSPDRXV…
Fed for 3weeks while our hired hand was on holidays. Then took a trip east. Back feeding again this weekend. I enjoy this part of having sheep for sure, but after seeing some of the robotic feeding systems in Ontario I'm a little envious.

Getting it cleaned up a bit at a time. Old crome shined up pretty well for the most part

My son and I are giving g the Superliner I acquired this spring a good wash. I thought it was a tan truck. Turns out it's silver underneath years of road grime
One thing I noticed on our trip to Ontario, lots of recently finished new barns and barns being built. Some truly state of the art operations.
Left Ontario where I filled up for $1.18/L, land in Alberta and first station I see is $1.34/L. That seems a little off
Just had the best bowl of broccoli cheddar soup I've ever had at the Blue Bird Cafe & Grill in Orangeville. Good finale meal in the east before heading home.
This old equipment is built to last. We have some 1950’s vintage compressors with over 400,000 hrs. Cool stuff.
I decided to tackle the pond project... Originally built almost 10 years ago now. Taking it waaay down to the bottom for a cleaning. Learned a lot about small pond maintenance in western Canada over those years.. I will build back better. Anyone got any tips? (Pic is *before)
Saw a fully podded field of canola today that was starting to turn. Windmill in the background. Not something I'd normally come across this time of year. Any guesses where it was?
Enjoyed a meal at a BBQ place in Keene today, Muddy's Pit. Pretty tastey meal and good live music. Just happened to have my @damsmokedamgood hat on today
