New compilation of some of the amazing projects I worked on in 2024. Super happy with this reel, can't wait to see what I will be delivering in 2025.
Houdini question for AOV-heavy artists: Just learned about using TOPs to render multiple ROPs from LOPs via ROP Fetch. But RAM stays full after each fetch, which defeats the purpose of chaining. Is there a clean way to flush memory between ROPs? Or am I missing something?

Just wrapped up the last FX layer on this shot. Render layers are next… Then comes the second most fun part in the pipeline: COMP! Can’t wait to bring it all together.
Your taste will always evolve faster than your skills. Don’t quit just because your current work doesn’t match your vision yet. That gap is proof you’re growing.
Sometimes the fastest way to level up your art isn’t doing more projects. But it’s doing the same type of project a few times in a row. Repetition > reinvention.
I used to spend 45 minutes scrolling fonts just to pick one that “felt right.” Now I do that with random seeds in a scatter node. Are you even a real 3D artist if you’ve never hit “seed number 378”?
Finally found time to dive back into the next module of @VoxydeVFX particle course. With every new lesson I notice that I am picking up new techniques faster. After 2–3 months deep in Houdini, I’m getting close to being ready for my first full Houdini project. #Houdini #VFX

Most directors say music is 50% of the film. And it shows, just changing the song can flip the whole feeling of a scene. Proving the Titanic is only sad because of the music:
