Violence against women: According to sources from the ground, 2 women were sexually assaulted in the village of Al Mazraa in the Suweida region by armed groups likely belonging to the General Security forces. We strongly condemn this violence.
During the current attacks against the Druze people,Fewziye Fexredîn El Şaranî defended her community in El Dor.After killing 7 attackers she also fell.We remember her and all fighting women and mothers with great honour,knowing that women's spirit of resistance is unbreakable.

In May we published our brochure about the massacres on Alawites (ypj-info.org/resources/). A full extent of the massacre was not yet clear. A detailed Reuters investigation reveals now that almost 1,500 Alawites were killed just between March 7th and 9th.

Today we commemorate the 10th aniversary of the Kobane massacre on June 25,2015.Over 200 civilians lost their live in this attack.Our thoughts are with the families.Even though ISIS was defeated its mentality and the thousands of imprisoned members remain a thread for the region.
