This misconception is so commonplace, even among some rookie engineers. 3GW of nuclear (or Hydro or Geothermal) can not even be compared to 3GW of solar or wind. There is no comparison!! So much so that its not even accounted for in transmission system operator's reserve…

Total waste of money...and time. You could build 3 GW of solar/wind every year starting today...but instead you want to wait 12 yrs to get 3.2 GW...which will be inoperable because of rising sea levels.
