Scotland is a colony scotlandscensus.gov.uk/atlas/chorople…
This is the story of his life, right here. Caddy tosses a ball on the ground, then POTUS pretends it's the shot he made.
Wales under 25 yrs of Labour rule has a per capita GDP of £27,274, Scotland free of Labour rule for 18 yrs has the Highest GDP in the UK at £39,707, £3k higher than England including the removal of offshore oil from the English calculation
If you know anything about research then you would understand that you proposal is fundamentally flawed and would not provide the necessary rigour & reliability to pass as valid.
Israel will never recover from this. Not in this life or the next.
Scotland’s political parties should be based in Scotland
Give Wales their due, they do have more hospital beds per capita than in Scotland, proving that under Labour the Welsh population is sicker than Scots and requires more hospital capacity for that reason.

When Brians English Labour Party governed Scotland, 8 of the top ten uk areas with the highest rates of poverty were in Scotland, Scotland no longer features in the top 25

This is a good one, GPs per 10,000 in Wales, 5.1 GPs per 10,000 in Scotland 7.5 Thats more than 50% more GPs per capita than Labour run Wales.

Talk about confused, Scottish "but British" politician doesn't even understand he is a member of an English political party that is in government in England, I fear I may not have hair left by the time this exchange is over
Your English Government? Not mine.
How about another education gem Brian, is this what Labour will deliver for Scotlands children?

This one is nuclear "Partly as a result of this higher spending, class sizes tend to be smaller in Scotland, with a pupil–teacher ratio of about 13 in 2024 compared with 17–19 in the rest of the UK. oh! and Scottish teachers have higher pay than r yUK.

And another shot across his bows. number of police officers in Wales 251/100k, Scotland 298/100k, oh! Scots police are also paid more.

Opening salvo, Welsh crime rate 88/1000, Scottish crime rate 55/1000

Brian is already shitting it and we haven't even started.

Another fine example of verbal Diarrhea from this wannabe English exceptionalist.

I wonder what Brians top three English tech innovations are, mines are, HS2, Hinkley point, Big floating runways, none of which will actually ever work as planned.
I repeat, I did not state that RR is a leader in SMR tech. I know that they are registered to work in the UK & Czech Republic. There are many producers mainly from USA & China but also from Russia, South Korea & Moltex Energy from the UK.
Brian thinks RR in England are "leaders" in SMR tech, despite the fact that they are actually years behind the actual leaders. how can he be so blinded by ideology and English exceptionalism?
So, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are gaining traction globally, but only a few are currently operational, with many more in development or planning stages. The question is do we want to be at the forefront of this tech. or lag behind as usual as you are ideologically opposed?
I'm a tech guy Brian, you have just admitted England is already lagging behind, because Russia and China have working models. I see no difference from being ideologically opposed, to you being ideologically in support, despite your obvious lack of knowledge on the subject.

Fill yer boots Brian. powermag.com/a-closer-look-… There will never be an SMR coming from other parts (Englandshire) of the UK. HS2 will take more than 30yrs from planning to delivery for 140m of track, a great success in Brians eyes
If that were the case, why are you so against it? Is it based on fear, on ideology or just because you are against anything that comes from other parts of the UK?
The wee soul canny debate the issue, so tries to diversion tactics, so Brian where are these SMRs coming from and when can we expect them to be available? simple straight forward answer required.

Brian is basing Scotlands future energy infrastructure on a nuclear product that wont be available for at least 20 years., Hinkley point will take 30yrs to build and Scottish home owners will be paying double the market rate for any power it produces.
We had a good debate today about the use of nuclear. I know SNP are dead set against its use. What it shows is they are out of touch with the Scottish public who want small modular reactors to help deliver a whole renewables package of clean energy for net zero. Change is coming.
