I'm looking for a crazy ambitious Research Scientist to expand our neural interface platform into multiple cancer indications. The role is based in Palo Alto, just on the edge of the Stanford Campus.
In NY this week with Mr @WoodingtonBen. DM if you want to meet and chat neural interfaces/future of bio/SF vs NY banter/British new wave 2.0 bands/which animals have a visible soul through the eyes!
Heading to NY for a few days for AIxBio (@decodingbio), come say hello.
Is the future of neuromorphic compute synthetic imitation or biohybrid ‘wetware’? The latter is so appealing (why rebuild something nature has mastered?) but I think I sit in the biomimetic camp. FWIW lots of promising development on both sides

neurotech in 2025 is what AI was in 2017 yet, the state of this generationally important technology is virtually unknown to those outside of a small community. we're releasing a map (see below) to help the world understand the field -- the tradeoffs between contending…
All the cash flowing into humanoid robots is going to slingshot robotic actuators, design, compute, and dexterity. I wonder if we will see this trickle down into human bionics, which today, are pretty low fi such that adoption is very low
Beautiful is too short of a word. Glutamate being released into synapses. Made possible by an indicator developed by @abhi_aggarwal1, @PodgorskiLab, and team in @AllenInstitute To my knowledge, this was impossible before.
Last week an investor told me that seeing one of his portfolio companies win ‘employer of the year’ was one of the most negative signals he’s seen Haven’t stopped thinking about this.
