In 1993, we received our first six-figure donation from Intel, closely followed by Avon Rubber. 💚 Their generosity helped shape the future of our work, and laid the foundations for us to become the organisation that we are today. #50for50

📗 In 1993, we published ‘Communities at Risk in Wiltshire’, an independent report which provided an overview of the county’s need. Identifying, understanding and addressing local need still plays a vital role in the work that we do today. #50for50

😊 We had a brilliant time today celebrating both Wiltshire Day and #VolunteersWeek. It was great to catch up and spend time with some of our Trustees and panel members. Thank you to all those who attended, and to The Peppermill for hosting us and providing a delicious lunch 😋

🌳 Happy Wiltshire Day! 🍰 As a place-based grant giving organisation, today is a special day for us, as we celebrate our wonderful county with a slice of lardy cake. Looking forward to celebrating again on 22 January for Swindon day! Photo Credit: Declan Spreadbury

💚 As part of #VolunteersWeek, we asked one of our wonderful panel members, Joanna, about why she began volunteering, and what it means to her. #VolunteersWeek

🗣 “I believe lots of people volunteering helps to create a good society.” For #VolunteersWeek, we wanted to shine a spotlight on Sue Webber, who has volunteered with us for over a decade. 💚 Sue joined our grants panel in 2013, before becoming a Trustee in 2016.
