LAPD detective Luke Baxter is in front of California POST to determine if he will be decertified as a California police officer. He was arrested for trying to buy an illegal silencer from China (a felony). But I’ve been told he’s been *back at work* as a Devonshire Detective.
LAPD Detective LUKE BAXTER WALDEN was arrested for trying to buy an illegal gun silencer from China, but he's in luck: his felony charge got reduced to a misdemeanor, so he's not automatically decertified. My guess: he'll settle and get to resign, keeping his pension.

Right after this incident, LAPD Lt Matthew Ensley was arrested after he put two people in the hospital when he crashed his car while shitfaced drunk. His next court date is 1/30/25. I’m gonna have to show up.
