Animal Control Officer Jenny Smith and Off. Scott Wagner rescued an injured Hawk this morning, on Rt. 9 east at the Longfellow Pumping Station. ACO Smith transported the Hawk to Tufts Animal Hospital in Grafton where they will provide care and rehabilitation. Excellent work!

Power has been restored thanks to WMLP.

FYI: There is a power outage in the Manor/Overbrook Ave area that WMLP is on scene and working on. Restoration of service should be soon.

MISSING PERSON UPDATE: Ann Smith was located near the area she was last seen walking. She is safe and has been reunited with her family. Thank you for the shares!

WPD working a three car crash on Weston Road at Route 9. Vehicle struck parked cars. No injuries, slight delays northbound on Weston at Fells block. Expect to clear by 855 AM.

TRAFFIC ALERT: A car fire at the gas station on Route 9 east at Weston Road has one lane closed and the ramp to Weston Road closed.

WPD working several incidents all over town including this crash in the parking lot to Roche Brothers. Two people were injured.

Traffic Update: The previous crash on Rt. 135 at Bacon St. has cleared, and the road has reopened.

Traffic Advisory: Police, Fire and EMS working a 2 car crash Rt. 135 at Bacon St. minor injuries reported. Expect delays in the area.

Update Route 9 East: Officers Chris Fritts and Stephen Gaffney are attempting to clear the storm drains to re open the road ahead of @MassDOT arrival. Officer Fritts reports from the scene “I don’t think the heavy stuff will be here for hours…”
