Very excited and honoured that our recently published paper “BMP signaling promotes zebrafish heart regeneration via alleviation of replication stress” was featured in the news! Thank you @SWRAktuellBW ! Huge shoutout to the amazing team in our lab! #zebrafish #ScienceNews
Interested in single cell genomics but need help getting started? Check out my lab's Single Cell Genomics Day on April 25. Talks will feature recent exciting computational and experimental advances and will be live-streamed at satijalab.org/scgd. Please RT/spread the word!
Paper alert🐟! Thrilled to share that our latest study “BMP signaling promotes zebrafish heart regeneration via alleviation of replication stress” nature.com/articles/s4146… is now live in @NatureComms. We show how BMP alleviates this stress via a conserved mechanism in mammals🐭
Thrilled to announce that our lab is relocating to the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory of the Max Planck Society @maxplanckpress and @MPI_Bio in winter 2025. We’ll have open positions— please help us spread the word and stay tuned for more updates! 🐸 🐁 🥳
Very happy and excited to share our latest preprint! We found that #zebrafish #cardiomyocytes experience #replication #stress and #BMP signaling helps them overcome it!

morphoHeart is live! @J_SanchezPosada developed software for 3D visualisation and morphometric analysis of the heart including negative space segmentation of cardiac ECM volume. All packaged up into a handy GUI. #morphometrics #zebrafish
Looking forward to our first Career Catalyst Mentorship Panel Discussion tomorrow on 'Identifying Your Research Vision' at 5pm CET with @Tanaxolotl, @sumrubayin, @MekaylaStorer, @asimonstockholm, @Lindsay_LaFave, @GilbertWeiding1, @cagricevrim
Attention all Trainees: We are excited to host our first Career Catalyst Mentorship Program Panel on 'Identifying & Delivering Your Research Vision' on February 21st (5pm CET, 11am EST, 8am PST, 12 am CST) with @Tanaxolotl @asimonstockholm Lindsay Lafave and Gilbert Weidinger.
Thanks a lot to the @WeidingerLab for inviting me to give the keynote lecture at the IGradU's Fall Meeting at the @uni_ulm last week. As always it was a great pleasure to visit Ulm and to interact with a number of excellent scientists and great people.
In SFB Trauma 1149, I was very excited to share my story on immune cell responses upon acute alcohol intoxication by using zebrafish as a model. Thanks to @SfbTrauma for my first start-up funding and making this possible along with @WeidingerLab and Prof. Dr. Borna Relja.
We closed such a delightful meeting with our PhD student @DeenPosadas giving a talk! We saw great science throughout these days! Congrats everyone! #ISRB2023 thank you @ISRBio

Had an amazing start yesterday at the #ISRB2023 meeting! Hope you had a look to the cool poster from our PhD student Hossein 🐟 Don't miss today our poster #P087 !
