Yo fellow DC fans…
Booster Gold is back on the board. HBO Max has brought in David Jenkins (Our Flag Means Death) to write the pilot, with plans for him to showrun if it moves forward. The long-developing series drops this update just as DC heads into Comic-Con week.
Leaving the comic shop. Need anything from the wall on my way out?

I’m exaggerating when I call myself a hater. The TMNT fandom suffers from, "The best version is the one I grew up with," and those fans are usually the worst, no matter the era. 2003 is overrated, but it’s just as solid as any other version.
03 hater?? Why?
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug and it hit a very specific type of dork right as they were forming their identity. It felt serious enough that they didn’t feel like they were watching a kiddy show. Now they think it’s the only one that gets it. Preference turns to delusion fast.
why do you think grown men are so delusional about 2003?
Since I’m only talking about the 2003 series, I’ll say they definitely should’ve continued the Dreamwave run. How do you drop this promo and not print issue 8?
Should they have finished the entire Image line of comics/story?
Since we’re talking 2003 Turtles, I’ll go with someone from JLU. Martian Manhunter is calm, strategic, and knows what it’s like to be an outsider. He’d vibe with the Turtles perfectly and bring a strong moral center without ever raising his voice.
If you had to pick anyone from Marvel or DC to be the Turtles mentor, whom would you chose?
Alright homies. I’m starting to get worried. This whole “[insert year] was made specifically for me” started as a joke, but now we’re getting a reprint of my favorite Amalgam character!? It looks like 2025 was truly made specifically for me.
Spider-Boy is back! The 1996 Amalgam one-shot by Karl Kesel and Mike Wieringo returns this October as a facsimile edition. Marvel and DC’s mashup of Spider-Man and Superboy swings back with the original ads, villains, and vintage chaos intact.
I wouldn’t argue with you if you said Dan Mora is the greatest of all time.
