NCR rains to continue tonight, and tomorrow, and tomorrow night, and Wednesday, (and until the end of the week if the LPA intensifies and move north to the Ryukyus). Kulay fusc..fuc..fu..pink ay >100mm for each of the 12-hour accumulated maps. Stay safe!
satellite-derived rain observation vs yesterday's forecast of last night's rain, overall acceptable (I think), even the rains in SW Panaytmedyo kuha (those heavy rains are from #EmongPH)
was reading an article about July 1903 rainfall,4 TCs passed Luzon that year(isa sa Batanes), but surprisingly, data shows 1903 was not an excessively rainy year. I didn't realize when I was writing this paper, doi.org/10.1002/joc.62…, but it's useful to me now w/ past wx events
where's the rain in NCR? The rainclouds are just to the west,few 10s of km,& been there since am.Last Mon,it happened to be a bit east over NCR,as mentioned,this type of system can't really be exactly forecasted,20km west & we have today,20km to the east & its widespread flooding
