Early risers who tuned into @KMOV at 5AM today must've been very confused. This morning, for the first time in my 25-year career in broadcasting, I anchored the news. We had an emergency - no one else was available. So I handled both news & weather until reinforcements arrived.

2:30 AM Update from @KMOV #FirstAlert4: Quick heads-up before you head out this morning. A dense fog advisory has been issued for Pike County, MO (northwest corner of our viewing area) until 9AM. Fog is possible around St. Louis as well, but will likely be thicker north and west.
