I sell puts ONLY on margin I keep some of my long term shares in my trading account to access margin But I keep my cash in separate account & I can transfer in a day if needed The cash flow generated by the options… I use to buy shares and LEAPS of stocks that I like 🔥💰
Selling an option on $TSLA or $MSTR is very different than on $AMZN or $GOOGL I sell calls and puts at delta 0.15 or so on $TSLA But on $AMZN it’s anywhere between 0.20 and 0.30 I adjust the delta based on the volatility of the stock
RSI > 80 on a daily chart = Buy a put OR Sell a call RSI < 30 = Buy a call or Sell a put But… The most important factor is TIME Time to option expiration SHOULD NOT be the same when you BUY vs SELL options When you learn this concept your returns will improve
