Up, up and away! We're installing a Siemens Biograph One PET/MR scanner — the first in the U.S. — in our Center for Clinical Imaging Research. The state-of-the-art scanner combines noninvasive PET with unprecedented MRI detail for faster scans, more info and less radiation.

Congrats to Assistant Prof. Masatoshi Inoue, PhD, who received a three-year, $300k grant from the Whitehall Foundation. This organization supports basic research in vertebrate & invertebrate neurobiology to better understand behavioral output or brain mechanisms. #MIRresearch
