Bharat Panuganti, MD, has received a $15,000 ALA Seymour Cohen, MD, Research Grant for his study on the safety and efficacy of sustained release corticosteroid triamcinolone in the rat airway.

R. Alex Harbison, MD, has received a K08 award from the NIH for his study, “Polyamine blockade and anti-tumor immunity in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.” The award provides a total of $680,000 for four years of support. Excellent work, Dr. Harbison!

It was an immense privilege to take part in my 1st medical mission trip to Guatemala City thru Medical Missions for Children. I was honored to be on a team that completed 30+ cleft & craniofacial surgeries during the week! @WashUMedENT
