With 200+ student workers keeping @washurec running like clockwork—and over 400,000 visits so far—this place is more than a gym. It’s a vibrant wellness hub powered by WashU’s most dedicated students and staff. And here, a special visitor experiences how they make it happen.

It’s safe to say that Simone Biles stuck the landing at #WashU25’s Commencement! It was an absolute honor to have her as this year’s speaker and honorary degree recipient.

Connecting with the friends and family of our students is always a pleasure. WashU is about community, and Commencement Day is the culmination of the connection and pride we share in this place and for each other. Congrats #WashU25!

The Commencement Festival is underway. Lots of local food along with local talent; WashU and St. Louis know how to throw a party! #WashU25

It’s about that time! The stage party, which includes the incomparable Simone Biles, is lined up & ready to celebrate our #WashU25 graduates. This moment has been a long time coming for our students and their loved ones. We’re ready to make it a day they will always remember!

Next Monday, #WashU25 will cross the stage and become distinguished alumni. Please join our community of faculty and staff and me in sending well wishes to our newest WashU graduates as they move forward with living lives of purpose and endless possibilities.

Celebrating the kickoff of Commencement season with #WashU25. Thoughts on this as my new profile photo?

🟪🟩🟨🟦 She’s an Olympian. She’s a champion. She’s the most decorated gymnast in history. She’s the #WashU25 Commencement speaker! WashU is honored to welcome @Simone_Biles as she delivers the 164th address! bit.ly/4iMxNJ3
A very inspiring story of entrepreneurship, mentorship and the power of collaboration. WashU students Chiara Munzi & Izzy Gorton are staking a claim in the breakfast industry, and we love to see it.
Stephanie & I had the pleasure of hosting the WashU Women’s Soccer Team for a special event celebrating their incredible 2025 national championship season! This season was one for the history books, and we couldn’t be prouder of these scholar-champions who brought home the title!

At last week’s State of the University, I urged our community to embrace our motto: Per Veritatem Vis—Strength Through Truth. In the face of scrutiny and politicization, we stand firm, upholding the principles that have sustained WashU for 170+ years

We are at a pivotal moment for higher ed. We must reaffirm where we stand, what we stand for, and the value we bring to the world. Today, @chronicle published an op-ed I co-authored with @VU_Chancellor. Let’s remain focused on what matters most. bit.ly/3EM9Jas
Did you know the WashU Arboretum is home to 6,500 trees and 750 species? I’m beyond grateful for the students, staff, and partners who nurture our campus greenery, creating beauty and sustainability for generations to come. bit.ly/3UDq46l
