The anti-V II cult is more opposed to Catholicism than "Protestantism." They're essentially second wave Protestants, the same way that feminism gets worse with every new iteration; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Believe you me, I've never seen such hatred for the Church as in that cesspool.
