In 2009, I was admitted @UCUniversity to pursue LLB but as a refugee boy my parent wouldn’t afford. I decided to pursue Bach of Devt Studies at Gulu Uni. In 2021, I decided to pursue Bachelor Degree of Law and graduated today. I waited for 16 years, My story is heartbreaking!

There’s no way, you can have enough US dollars circulating in the market than South Sudanese Pounds. This is a clear indication of economic sabotage by some individuals in the system. Some cartels must have bought a lot of SSP and keeping them in their houses. #SSOT #SSOX

I strongly believe that the original Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan, 2011 can be amended to facilitate and support election and address post election arrangements. #SSOT #SSOX

When you do your own research, you’ll understand that those who purport to love, support and defend Pres Kiir. Do so to enrich themselves or gain political favors. I don’t think the same people will return the same favors when Pres Kiir becomes powerless & no economic power.

Since, the Supreme Court is fully reconstituted as the Constitutional Court. It’s important to challenge deportation of non South Sudanese criminals by the US into the Country. The act is unconstitutional and illegal, never back by any law in the country. #SSOT #SSOX

The Constitution and the laws of South Sudan doesn’t in any way allow the President or his VP to unilaterally enter into a deal with a foreign govt to deport non South Sudanese dangerous criminals into the country. #SSOT #SSOX

This is very dangerous trading between Pres Kiir, Benjamin Bol Mel and Pres Trump. These individuals aren’t South Sudanese by origin except one but foreigners with dangerous criminal records. Our Constitution &the Law doesn’t allow or support such actions by the Pres. #SSOT

The 5 years Judiciary Strategic Plan appreciated the fundamental issue of decentralizing the Court of Appeal by creating three Court of Appeal circuits to accommodate the three regions. However, these circuits MUST be based in their respective regions not in Juba only. #SSOT

One of the fundamental issue of this document is the fact that it excludes the establishment of an independent Constitutional Court departing from the previous position that the Supreme Court acts as the Constitutional Court. The Constitution demands its establishment! #SSOT

When you read Sec 135 of the Child Act, the punishment is supposed to be meant for reformation, social rehabilitation & reintegration. I know this matter is very delicate but the law doesn’t allow death sentence on children below the age of 18 years or grave punishment. #SSOT

As much we would want a serious punishment on those boy who gang raped the young girl. Some of the accused person’s appears to be under 18 years old, although they seem to be above the age of criminal responsibility. The Child Act does protect them from certain serious penalties.

Very important document to read on restructuring and reorganization of the Judiciary. The new CJ is taken the right path by focusing on addressing the fundamental issues facing the Judiciary. You’ve our absolute support to succeed and redefine the Judiciary purpose. #SSOT
