I am very much not on the AI train but, I will gladly say it has it's uses. Just with all hypes, there's a lot of stuff that isn't useful. But, having AI write a UI for me in 12 minutes when it would have taken me a good few hours (UI is not my forte) is absolutely fantastic.

We want your feedback! Here's a public proposal for supporting _routes.json config files in Workers with static assets: github.com/cloudflare/wor… The goal is to make it simpler to specify which routes invoke your Worker, as well as ease migrations from Pages.

This is a concerning day. Whilst I had Advanced Data Protection enabled, Apple said I "will eventually need to disable this security feature”… The UK Government are compelling Apple, and myself, to disable a security feature that protects my data in the cloud!

Apple removing Advanced Data Protection (ADP) in the UK is absolutely insane. This sets an incredibly dangerous precedent. Fuck our government's anti-privacy/security viewpoints and technical ineptitude, but I'm also severely disappointed in @Apple for rolling over here. 😔

Zooming out really puts it in context. P90 used to be 27-35ms, now it's 12-15ms. Workers KV has literally never been faster Guess you'll have to tune in next week to see the details of Workers KV's speed improvements 👀

So we've shipped some huge perf improvements to @cloudflare Workers KV this week, and we've just finished rolling the big ones out. This isn't synthetic data: this is the data from serving config & assets for Pages customers. tl;dr: p90 hot reads from ~35ms -> ~11ms.

Are we done pretending that AI chatbots for documentation/support actually provide a good experience for end-users yet? 👀 🤖 There's lots of great use-cases for modern LLMs, but not for documentation/support bots.
