Leader of Manitoba NDP
Today, we were sworn in as your new Manitoba Government. As your new government, we will put you first and make this a province you are proud of. I will be a leader for all of us in Manitoba. Miigwech, merci, and thank you for putting your trust in us.

Volunteers setting up cots for wildfire evacuees…some just arrived in Canada days ago. Asylum claimants who once slept on Red Cross cots themselves. Now helping Manitobans forced from their homes by fire. That’s compassion. That’s One Manitoba.
I met American firefighters up north who came to help - and they had nothing but praise for Manitoba. To those in U.S. Congress trying to score points off our wildfire crisis: now’s not the time. People are grieving. Communities still at risk. Let’s focus on helping.
In a moment of crisis, Const. Moshe Linov and École Neelin’s first responders showed Manitoba’s true colours: brave, strong, and full of heart. We awarded them the Order of the Buffalo Hunt — a tribute to their courage, humanity, and service to community.
Universal healthcare is who we are as Canadians. It’s one of the things that sets us a part from the U.S. and we should be proud of that. Let’s keep it strong and make sure it serves everyone, in every region. It’s our heritage, our legacy and something we should all be proud of.
Visited Green Acres Colony near Wawanesa — the first time a Premier has visited. From fire trucks built with precision tech (some used in Flin Flon fires) to food, conversation, and community rooted in care — I was moved by their innovation, hospitality, and heart. One Manitoba.

We’re not doing an R-Cut at Hwy 1 and 5 near Carberry because we listen to rural Manitoba. You spoke, we heard you. A safe design that works for you is in the works. Let’s build One Manitoba, together.
A Premier destination. 😏

Is it just me, or does @jonathantoews look right at home in a Jets jersey? ✈️
Almost tied the all-time record! 🦬 🥅 Manitoba showed up big at the NHL Draft!

Good thing we didn’t put the US booze back on the shelves! #elbowsup 🇨🇦
Thank you to the firefighters from Manitoba, across Canada, the U.S. and beyond — and to everyone who donated, cooked, or showed up with heart. When the going gets tough, Manitobans get through it together. 🤝 Friendly Manitoba — the friend you can count on.
Manitoba now has a voice in Washington. 🇺🇸🦬 We’ve opened a trade office in D.C. — led by former White House correspondent Richard Madan — to protect Manitoba jobs and strengthen ties with the U.S. economy.

As things get safer, we’re lifting the wildfire state of emergency. Good government means using emergency powers sparingly—and respecting your freedoms.
Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day! It’s a day to lift up our languages, honour our ancestors, and celebrate the strength of our communities.

🦬 For the first time in 20 years, more people are moving to Manitoba than leaving. That’s not just a stat, it’s a sign. This is Manitoba. And there’s a place for you here. 🌾
