With funds drying up, WFP is forced to make heartbreaking choices: taking from the hungry to feed the starving. WFP's Mohamed Gamal shares what this means for families in an IDP camp now cut off from WFP food assistance.

Sherizihah is one of 4 million people forced to flee the war in #Sudan. WFP provides food and nutrition assistance to Sudanese families, both inside the country and across borders. But without more funding, this lifeline is at risk. #WorldRefugeeDay

WFP has supported more than 1 million people in greater Khartoum, a city devastated by war. Hunger has skyrocketed and needs remain extremely high. WFP is doing everything we can to expand assistance, but we need additional resources to do so.
