Boss, @afamosigwe led administration DID NOT cancel the free seal. The hike became necessary as the producing company stopped and said they couldn’t continue production at the rate they started since 2016. The NEC last year agreed that the free seal be stopped forthwith.
The free seal was discontinued early last year by the last administration. It was no longer sustainable. The manufacturing company wanted an increase in the cost of production and refused to produce which then led NEC to stop the production of free seal early last year.
