Since 2025-26 is officially the last year of the Western Athletic Conference, what is your favorite memory over the last 12 years?

3 conference games in 6 days, all on the road and all over a holiday. Brutal first six days of conference play for @CBUmbb

Full schedule is out for @CBUmbb Not as many home games as usual for the Lancers but challenging nonetheless. Excited to see them live in early December when they face BYU at the Delta Center and Utah at the Huntsman Center.

And this is something I’m really not a fan of when it comes to scheduling these days in college basketball. I don’t necessarily blame Notre Dame or Miami here…but teams are rewarded for blowing out 275+ NET opponents at home. It’s the system that’s been created.

It’s interesting to note that @CBUmbb might have the most challenging conference schedule. At Utah Valley twice, at UT Arlington twice, and at Southern Utah twice. And the Lancers are 1 of 2 teams (SUU) to have 2 3-game road stretches. Should be interesting.

There was quite a bit of two teams playing twice in 10, 12, 15 days on last year's schedule. Looks like CBU only gets one of those...playing Utah Tech twice in 14 days. On the women's side that's a pair of matchups with regular season title implications @WACHoopsNation

Here are the official links for the 2025-26 WAC schedules. Again, everyone but Southern Utah is playing on New Year’s Day! And everyone plays everyone 3 times. @SUUBasketball may have most favorable schedule with UVU, CBU and Tarleton State in Cedar City twice.

Can you blame them? When you got embarrassed as the 12th-ranked team in the country and then got embarrassed on your home floor the following year, I can see why #BYU won’t schedule that team 5 miles away. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yep, WAC Hoops schedules drop this week. Play each team 3 times and it’s broken up over 2.5 months. WAC play begins Dec. 29 and, unless things change, there will be conference games on New Year’s Day.
