Many many congratulations to the "Vayu" family. May the golden wings achieve new heights and win more hearts. Vayu will keep inspiring new enthusiasts, like it always has done and will encourage new writers, researchers and analysts in their journey.
As most of you know, Vayu Aerospace Review is celebrating its 50th Anniversary ⚡️⚡️ Also, exactly 50 years ago on 27 July 1975 (and today 27th July 2025), Vayu magazine's Founder and Editor Mr. Pushpindar Singh flew in a Concorde for which post flight he (and others) were…
The CVRDE (jointly developed with the AL) 600Hp engine has already met the performance parameters and is currently going through the durability tests. Btw, let me tell you that we are not developing just the engine but the entire MTU solution for future mobility.

"Operation Sindoor": Everything You Need to Know...my tribute to the Indian Armed Forces through @ReviewVayu. Here I discussed the objectives, the progress, the achievements, strategy of Pakistan, importance of the mission and potential vulnerabilities we should address.

A nice sump up by @officialTatya_1 This clearly explains why it's easier to design a fighter jet around an engine you can make rather than design an engine to fit a fighter jet you can make! You just can't replace an engine with any random one.

"Jagannatha Ratha Chakralu vastunnayi vastunnayi Ratha chakra PRALAYA gosham Bhoomargam pattisthanu Bhookampam pattisthanu......."

"Manohar" and "Parrikar" series rifles from the SSS Defence.....years have passed and these have been improved further.

If I understand correctly, then there will be two offers for the indigenous P-76 submarines. One will be pitched by the MDL and another one by the DRDO-WDB-L&T (and not DRDO-WDB vs L&T-WDB).

The Indian Navy teases the NGD in this video. The render shows 16 large VLS (likely for the supersonic & hypersonic AShM), 48 medium VLS (likely for medium & long range AD) and 48 small VLS (most probably for point defence). Btw, work is going on UVLS.
As Indonesia signs the contract for the Kaan fighter jet of Turkey let me remind you that the first prototype of Kaan is yet to conduct the first flight! What has made to sky is a TD. The first flight of the first prototype is scheduled for 2026, April.

Indonesia has signed a contract with Turkey worth more than $10 billion for the procurement of 48 Kaan fighter jets. This marks the first successful export contract of Kaan even before the first flight of the first prototype (the TD has)!

IRRPL is in talks with Russia for the full ToT for the manufacturing of the AK-19 (5.56×45mm) and PPK-20 (9×19mm). IRRPL currently is manufacturing AK-203I Sher (7.62×39mm). It will be interesting to see, if there be any interest for the AK-308 (7.62×51mm) as well.

Amrit vachaan in a space 1) NATO is in Ukraine 2) Russia is acting, it's to reveal real power 3) you must buy foreign fgfa 4) When a plane empties AAM, it sings "highway to the danger zone" and storms against enemy jets 5) sensors don't matter 6) literally said "Delhi se hu..."
The "Kargil War" was a landmark event for the Indian Armed Forces with unparalleled courage, grit, brilliance, and determination steering a victory in a unprecedented high-altitude multi-domain hybrid war.
Just answer these questions: 1) will there be 100% freedom to India for operation 2) how quick the orders can be delivered 3) order of what size will provide min availability for two fronts 4) can indigenous prog sustain after investing in procurement 5) is the ROI feasible
