It's a true blessing to have people in my life who are willing to be a part of my various projects. And will say yes to me without hesitation. Never could've imagined this a decade ago. Feeling very blessed this week to know & be in community with creative, caring people.

The one thing I do appreciate about the H. B!den interview is his awareness about not wanting to have an euphoric recall in discussing his substance use experience. Got to know your triggers and boundaries in recovery. That's all I got to add to the discussion.

In honor of the 35th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Progressives Against Medical Assisted Suicide is presenting the film, Thoughts on Medical Assisted Suicide. John Kelly and I will be hosting a Watch Party tonight and Saturday afternoon.

My video editor has me watching the draft he's doing about my Cowboy Carter experience. I hate watching & listening to myself lol. But I did it. I really like how he has incorporated the mini clips & photos I shared. Still got work to do on it, but I'm happy w/ what I see.

In thinking about Theo, that was the first time I saw a TV character with a learning #disability. And how once Theo got diagnosed, the dots connected for the family about the academic bumps Theo had. We need more poignant depictions of Black teens with disabilities on TV.

This is heartbreaking to learn of. Rest well.

Grandma is end of life planning goals. This inspires me to work on my own wishes & connect with someone about estate planning. This is thoughtful & intentional. Here for it.
