There was a (semi-recent) period in my life in which I thought I was the single worst-running PLO player in the country while on a six-figure downswing. Turned out I was just brutally misplaying flopped sets, whoops.

All of this to say it is much harder to remain positive when losing than winning (duh), and often feels like the lows are lower and more frequent than the highs, even if untrue. My rec, when you feel like you’ve hit a low talk to one friend who doesn’t give a fuck about gambling

Really enjoyed @chinamaniac podcast yesterday, and thought it was incredibly relevant to the tl discourse. Pretty much everyone I know (incl myself multiple times over) has had a “what the fuck just happened” day/week/month where a non-insignificant % of a br is lost in a blur.
