Someone bought 300+ spam links and pointed them to one of our most critical air purifier reviews. The first wave came after we sent a request for comment for a new review. The second wave came the day after @linusgsebastian posted a video about the brand threatening to sue us.

Whoever paid for these links wants Google's automated anti-spam systems to label the page as 'spam' and remove it from the index. They are linking to our review with words such as 'hacked accounts for sale' and 'download pirated software here' to tarnish the page as pure spam.
