This traffic switch has been delayed due to weather. The change will now take place at the beginning of next week.

Be alert to a traffic switch along Route 23 between mile markers 47.9 and 49.6 in Wise County. The lane closure will shift to the right lane, moving traffic to the left lane beginning Friday (July 18). Pay attention to signs and use caution through the work zone.

Route 641 (Campground Road) in Washington County between Cowan Drive and Reedy Creek Road will be closed for a pipe replacement on Wednesday (July 16) until 5 p.m. Thursday (July 17). Residents will have access to their properties. A detour will be in place for through traffic.

Traffic Alert: Route 91 in Tazewell County is closed due to a sinkhole that formed over the weekend. All lanes of Route 91 between Routes 601 and 607 are closed to traffic for an undetermined period of time. A detour is in place using Route 607 (Little Tumbling Creek Road).
