Always great speaking with @ConnollyRoss on @WDEVRadio's Vermont Viewpoint. Yesterday morning I joined his show to discuss the issues facing Vermont and the cautionary tale of socialism’s role in the New York City mayoral race. Link to the full conversation in the comments ⬇️
After a successful legislative session with major action on education, affordability, housing and more, @GovPhilScott remains America’s most popular governor. Vermonters continue to want strong, responsible leadership. #vtpoli
The second quarter of 2025 was another exceptional one for Republican Phil Scott of Vermont, who was the most popular governor for the 12th quarter running with a 72% approval rating. pro.morningconsult.com/trackers/gover…
Looking back on a great 4th of July weekend in Castleton 🇺🇸 I was honored to walk in our town’s parade to celebrate our country and community with so many familiar faces. Hope everyone had a great holiday!
Two years ago, areas across Vermont were devastated by catastrophic flooding and one year ago, more intense rain hit Vermont devastating more communities. But, instead of throwing up our hands, Vermonters rolled up their sleeves and got to work.
249 years ago today, the United States of America was born. A bold experiment that was conceived as an idea that a nation’s people should not only be independent, but free. Free to say what they believe, worship how they choose, govern themselves, and pursue their dreams — no…
I wish all Vermonters and visitors a happy and safe Fourth of July! It’s important to remember that there is more that unites us than divides us, and when we speak with one voice, America is an unstoppable force for good in a world that desperately needs more of it.
A stunning sunset last night on Lake Bomoseen. Grateful to serve the town of Castleton and represent such a beautiful part of Vermont 🌅
Less distractions in Vermont’s schools this fall📱 Today, Governor Phil Scott signed H.480 limiting cellphones in Vermont’s schools. The policy will help students connect with their teachers, their studies, and perhaps most importantly — one another 📚
A historic win for Vermonters 🇺🇸 Thank you @GovPhilScott for your leadership.
Today I signed S.51, which includes tax breaks for workers, families and seniors. It also fully exempts military retirement income up to $125,000 and tapers off for those receiving more. This income tax exemption is something I and many others have long advocated for.
Fantastic event last night in South Burlington with the @VTGOP and Chairman @Dame4VT — a strong kickoff to a packed summer of events and fundraising as we gear up for 2026. Big things ahead!🇺🇸
