idk if this is a hot take, but i think giving them the ability to speak and taunt was a bad idea. i feel like it takes away what made fnaf scary in the first place. the eerie uncertainty of these things being sentient and them essentially being walking corpses.
I blame most of the characterization of the toy animatronics being stuck in fnaf AR for making people forget that they’re all just various shades of being downright demented smug freaks who just enjoy the hunt I can 100% see them gleefully manipulating Abbey in the movie
