County Assessor Keith Taylor and County Clerk-Recorder Michelle Ascencion formally finalize the County Assessor’s certification of the property assessment rolls. The letter of certification is signed by Assessor Taylor and attested to by Clerk-Recorder Ascencion.

We had the pleasure of speaking to the VCEA last night. County Clerk-Recorder Michelle Ascencion, and Donny LaQue, Clerk-Recorder Division Manager, gave a presentation on real estate document recording, best practices and more, to the group. Thank you for the invite!

One of the hardest working (and the nicest) members of our team celebrated her 60th today. Everyone got together to give Josie an outstanding lunch. Happy Birthday, Josie, and a great year ahead!


Great Bring Your Kid to Work Day! Michelle and staff volunteers handed out Pet Birth Certificates, Home Sweet Home Deeds and held an Election for future voters. We received 157 ballots (some overvotes of many favorites). Drum roll: Results of the Election attached. @CountyVentura

Ventura County's Real Estate Fraud Advisory Team celebrated their 20th year at this year's Symposium. Michelle Ascencion joined the District Attorney's Office and the Real Estate lawyers, realtors and other REFAT professionals highlighting new and continuing programs @VCRefat
