Earning his second-straight spot on our First Team, Gaither senior @jacksonmirza11 with a strong senior season. The @USFBaseball signed centerfielder batted .398, w/ 22 RBI, scored 24 runs, stole 25 bags, hit 8 doubles & 3 homers. He also had 4 saves and had a 2.00 ERA.

A workhorse on the mound and a weapon at the plate, @baseball_crest senior & @USFBaseball signee @TweedyBrisen27 earns First Team honors. Tweedy went 6-5, posting a 1.38 ERA & 48 K's, while tossing 5 complete games. He hit .383, scored 23 runs, had 16 RBI & 8 doubles.

I would think, more likely than not, this is just to get more leverage during draft negotiations . I would think he goes top 10 rounds and signs professionally in the draft. Just my thoughts on it.
